My Rock
based on psalm 26

God is my Rock, He's always near,
He is my Strength, I need not fear.
Though earth may fall, though mountains tumble,
I will not fear, I will not crumble!
There is a river with mighty springs,
A great city where my God reigns.
He's always there, He hears my call.
He'll rescue me whene'er I fall.
When kingdoms fall or nations tower
God lifts His voice in awesome power.
The earth may melt, the world may fear,
But I'm secure, my God is near.
"Be still", He says, "I am your Lord!
Bow down and worship, my name adore.
I'm always with you, I am your Rock
Your refuge ever, you are my flock."
I'm always safe, for God is near,
He is my strength, so I'll not fear,
My shield and shelter though mountains tumble,
God is my Rock, I will not crumble!! |
