Missions is an important part of the Christian
Fellowship's Churches vision. The following are
several members of our church in full time
missions:
Harold Giesbrecht serves with
CSSM (Canadian Sunday School Mission) as
a public relations officer. This involves much
traveling, many speaking engagements, and
planning of events.
Christal Siemens is working with
Inner City Youth Alive in Winnipeg
Manitoba. She works with the street children,
directs clubs and programs.
Kevin and Leona Clarke with
Awana, served in the Steinbach area for
many years. They have now relocated to Moncton
New Brunswick, from where they will serve the
Maritime provinces. |

Christian Fellowship Church also supports other individuals who are
not members of this congregation. There are different interest
groups that are included in this area, and are as follows:
David and Anne Affleck currently serving with
Global Outreach Mission in Vancouver British Columbia. They
work as Bible teachers and consultants, as well as in message
translation during the Sunday Service for the French speaking part
of the congregation. In the past, they spent many years in France,
as well as a few years in Quebec.
Werner and Krista Heauser are one of our indigenous missionaries
serving in Brazil. They are involved in teaching pastors and
missionaries and have an extensive counseling ministry.
We also contribute in prayer support and finances to six other
indigenous missionaries. These missionaries are Leonard Simaiyu in
Kenya, Sahid Raza in Pakistan, Subba Praja in Nepal, J Thanaraji in
India, Boloji Guguloth in India and Gary Quequish in Northern
Ontario.
Ed an Aggie Esau also served with
New Tribes Mission in Papau New Guinea, where they were
involved with tribal evangelism. As a result of that ministry, in
partnership with CFC, a tribal church was established, which in
essence is the daughter church of CFC. The members of CFC planted,
prayed, gave, and God Blessed.
Edwin & Annette Esau have been serving with New Tribes Mission of
Canada since the early 80’s. Over twenty of those years have been
spent at the NTMC Missionary Training Center in Durham ON. Since
Sept 05 Edwin & Annette have been living in Steinbach, MB and are
involved with Missionary Care and Church Relationships. Edwin is the
NTMC Regional Director for SK, MB, and nw ON.
In partnership with local churches NTM is working in about 250
tribal locations around the world. There are still approximately
3000 unreached Tribal Groups around the world today that still need
to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. |
